Leslie on May 20, 02, HK　投稿者：Susanna 投稿日：2002/05/21(Tue) 09:10 No.4552 Dear friends, A charity function organized by "End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation" was held yesterday afternoon in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Leslie and Karen Mok were the guests and in fact, they were appointed as the "Pioneer Ambassador" of the Foundation to arouse the public's attention to the work and fund-raising activities of the Foundation. We went to the shopping mall at around 12:30 pm and quickly finished our lunch and started to browse around to see where the best place was to see him. The staff told us that Leslie will be giving out donation leaflets in an area facing directly to the stage (very small - only 5 or 6 people can stand in the front line) and there are quite a number of fans waiting there already. We finally decided to wait in the corner where we could see him walking onto the stage. By 2:45pm, the venue was filled with fans and the public. He came around at 3:00 pm together with the Chairman of the Foundation, Ms. Siu FongFong. I could hear people screaming before I could see him walking by. He was holding the arm of Siu and walked slowly and gracefully in front of us before going on stage. We called "Gor Gor" gently when he passed by us and he greeted us smilingly and nodded to us with direct eye contact acknowledging our greetings ? a very friendly Gor Gor! He looked bright and cheerful. He was wearing a navy-blue/light-blue/white checker shirt and a navy-blue pants...... and a pair of heavy black frame eye glasses - very scholar and very very boyish, just like an undergrad from university, a boy next door. The MC invited the Chairman of the Foundation and the guests to come up to the stage to inaugurate the ceremony. Fans standing in front of the stage shouted out "Gor Gor", we echoed from our corner. Then he was seated just about 3 meters away from us but our sight was blocked most of the time by the police officer who sat next to him. He was watching the programs with much interest and was smiling all the time when the cute little girls danced for the theme. He put his hands one on top of the other, on his lap and was sitting there like a little good boy listening to his class very attentively. At times, he was playing with his fingers and at times, he took out a piece of paper from his pocket and browsed through his speech. At times, he was thirsty and his assistant brought him a bottle of water. He drank 4/5 of the bottle in a breath before he put the bottle on the floor. Then it was his turn to go up stage to announce the new address of the Foundation and briefly introduced its work. He also demonstrated how to fill in the donation form - he signed on the demo form as "X"! Then he and Karen were asked to go down to the floor and distribute the donation forms to the public. He went to the wrong direction - walking towards us! We were so happy and yet happiness only lasted for less than 2 seconds. The staff re-directed him to the area facing the stage and he was there for a few minutes giving out the forms. While we were envying the other fans, we knew that if we showed our passion warm enough, he would come to our corner. After he finished giving out the forms, we waved to him and urged him to give us the leaflets as well. He was so nice in granting our wishes..... he did walk towards our corner just stood right in front of us, just one foot away from us. We could see him so closely, so clearly and, in such a friendly way. He was smiling all the time showing his pearl-like white teeth. There was no trace of any makeup. His skin complexion is so fine and perfect, his teeth are so perfect, his smile is so boyish and innocent..... my gosh.... cannot recall anything...... run out of vocabulary! (present tense is being used here... as he always is!) He was there standing in front of us, giving out the leaflets for more than a minute. He was standing so close to us and yet we dare not to get too close, so we leaned back a bit to give way to him so that he could reach people at the back. Fans talked to him telling him that he is so handsome, some told him that his new duet with Anthony Wong is very nice. He nodded smilingly. Before he walked away, we broke out "we wish you good health" and he turned back and looked in the eyes and smiled and acknowledged like saying "thank you". He left soon after he finished his tasks. When he passed by us again, we bid goodbye to him and again, he gave all of us a gentle smile and said "bye-bye" in a low voice. People were then moving quickly with his pace and only a few was left in the venue! (not too prudent though) Fans dashed to the carpark exit to see him off and they were very well disciplined, spread in a single line and waited for his Mercedez. He was sitting on the left-hand side of the rear seat and he was waving bye-bye again. After he's gone, everybody expressed how happy they were to see Gor Gor today....... He was there for more than an hour. Re: Leslie on May 20, 02, HK　Xiang（しゃん） - 2002/05/21(Tue) 22:28 No.4561 ■途中はっしょっていますが、大体こんな内容です〜　^-^ 護苗（児童を性犯罪の被害から保護するための活動）大使に選ばれたレスリーとカレン・モクは　昨日柴湾で行われたチャリティーイベントに出席。 ランチを早めに済ませ、レスリーが一番よく見える位置で待つ。スタッフの人から、レスリーが直接基金のパンフレットを手渡すよ、と聞いた。（ステージはとても狭い。５〜６人でいっぱい）すでに多くのファンが待っていた。私たちはレスリーが壇上へあがってくる途中に位置を取った。 ２時４５分。会場はファンと記者で溢れていた。３時を回った頃、基金の理事長である蕭芳芳と一緒に登場。彼の姿が見える前に、人々の歓声で彼が来たとわかった。彼は蕭芳芳の腕を取り優雅にステージへと進んだ。。彼が通り過ぎるときに”哥哥！”と呼んだら、ほほえみながら私たちの方をしっかり見て、うなずいてくれた。とってもフレンドリーなレスリー！彼はとっても元気で明るかった。彼はネイビーとライトブルーのホワイトのチェックシャツにネイビーのパンツの格好に、黒の太めのフレームの眼鏡という出で立ち。まるで、大学生か近所の男の子のようにも見えた。 司会の人が大使の就任式を行うのにゲストをステージに招いた。前を陣取っているファンたちは”哥哥！”と叫んだ。私たちからほんの３ｍほどのところに彼は座り、また、彼の隣には警察官が座っていたので見えにくかった。彼は熱心にプログラムを観、終始にこやかだった。レスリーは手を重ねて膝の上にちょこんと置き、行儀よく授業を聞く少年のようだった。たまに時間を持て余したかのように指で遊んでいたり、スピーチでしゃべるメモをポケットから出しては見ていた。のどが渇いたのか、アシスタントに水を頼んでいた。彼はボトルの水を一気に４／５ほど飲み干した。その後、彼は基金の新しいアドレスを発表し、その活動を紹介した。また、彼は基金の受付フォームに「Ｘ」と署名し、デモンストレーションを行った。 次にレスリーとカレンは、正式に基金に署名するためにフロアーに降りるように言われたのだが、彼は違う方向に歩き・・・私たちの方に歩いてきたのだ。２秒くらいのことだったが、とてもうれしかった！スタッフが彼に正しい場所を指示し、チラシを渡すために数分でそこにいた。 （途中略します・・・　~_~;） 私たちはレスリーをめちゃ間近にはっきりと見ることができた。彼は始終その真珠のような白い歯を見せて笑っていた。化粧の跡なんてみじんもない！彼の肌は完璧！！！！歯もすばらしし！　無垢なその笑顔・・・（Susanna壊れる） （また略） ファンたちは近くにいるレスリーに、今度のアンソニーとの共演はとてもいい！と言ったら、彼は笑ってうなずいた。彼が去るときに私たちは　”お体大切に”と叫んだ。彼はありがとう、とでも言ってくれるかのようにほほえんでくれた。 お仕事も終え、彼は低い声で”bye-bye”とやさしい笑顔で私たちに言いながら去った。 人々は彼をすばやく追いかけ、ファンたちは駐車場出口へと急いだ。彼のメルセデスを待つように１つの列ができた。彼は左側の後部座席に座り　またババイと手を振ってくれた。彼が去った後、今日はレスリーに会えてどれだけうれしかったかみな口々に言っていた。彼は会場に１時間以上居た。 Re: Leslie on May 20, 02, HK　Susanna - 2002/05/21(Tue) 23:08 No.4562 Dear friends, I forgot to tell you the most important part of the event held yesterday: YES, WE DID SEND OUT DONATION CHEQUES TO THE "END CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE FOUNDATION".
